धर्म उदाच अवश्यं भो: शरीर ते त्यक्तव्यं मुनिपुड्गभव । स्वर्गमारोह भो विप्र कि वा वै रोचतेडनघ,धर्म बोले--निष्पाप मुनिश्रेष्ठ! शरीर तो तुम्हें अवश्य त्यागना पड़ेगा। विप्रवर! अब स्वर्गलोकपर आरूढ़ हो जाओ अथवा तुम्हारी क्या रुचि है? बताओ

Transliteration

dharma uvāca—avaśyaṃ bhoḥ śarīra te tyaktavyaṃ munipuṅgava | svargam āroha bho vipra kiṃ vā vai rocate ’nagha ||

Translation

Dharma berkata: “Wahai yang tak bercela, wahai resi utama, engkau pasti harus meninggalkan tubuh ini. Wahai brāhmaṇa terbaik, naiklah kini ke surga—atau katakan, apakah yang engkau kehendaki?”
