आदित्यो<यं स्थितो मूढ़ा: स्नेह कुरुत मा भयम्‌ । बहुरूपो मुहूर्तश्ष जीवेदपि कदाचन,“अरे मूर्खो! अभी तो सूर्यास्त भी नहीं हुआ है; अत: डरो मत। बच्चेको लाड़-प्यार कर लो। अनेक प्रकारका मुहूर्त आता रहता है। सम्भव है किसी शुभ घड़ीमें यह बालक जी उठे

ādityo ’yaṃ sthito mūḍhāḥ snehaṃ kuruta mā bhayam | bahurūpo muhūrtaś ca jīved api kadācana ||

“Hai orang-orang dungu! Matahari belum terbenam—jangan takut. Curahkan kasih sayang kepada anak itu. Waktu memiliki banyak rupa; boleh jadi pada suatu saat yang mujur, bocah ini akan hidup kembali.”
