Daṇḍa as the Foundation of Social Order (दण्डप्रतिष्ठा)
यदीद धर्मतो राज्यं विहितं यद्यधर्मत:ः । कार्यस्तत्र न शोको वै भुड्क्ष्य भोगान् यजस्व च,यह राज्य धर्मसे प्राप्त हुआ हो या अधर्मसे, इसके लिये शोक नहीं करना चाहिये। आप भोग भोगिये और यज्ञ कीजिये
yadīdaṃ dharmato rājyaṃ vihitaṃ yady adharmataḥ | kāryas tatra na śoko vai bhuṅkṣva bhogān yajāsva ca ||
Arjuna berkata: “Entah kerajaan ini datang kepadamu melalui dharma ataupun melalui adharma, tidak patut ada dukacita karenanya. Terimalah kenikmatan yang menjadi bagianmu dan laksanakan pula yajña.”
