कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च
The Dove’s Lament and Celestial Reunion
कृतबुद्धि्द्रूमे तस्मिन् वस्तुं तां रजनी ततः । साञ्जलि: प्रणतिं कृत्वा वाक्यमाह वनस्पतिम्
kṛtabuddhidrūme tasmin vastuṃ tāṃ rajanī tataḥ | sāñjaliḥ praṇatiṃ kṛtvā vākyam āha vanaspatim ||
Bhīṣma berkata: “Kemudian, berniat menghabiskan malam itu di sana, ia mendekati pohon yang disebut ‘pohon berketetapan budi.’ Dengan kedua tangan terkatup dan setelah bersujud hormat, ia menyapa sang penguasa rimba itu dengan kata-kata yang penuh takzim.”
