त्रिवर्गमूलनिश्चयः — Determining the Roots of Dharma, Artha, and Kāma
Mahābhārata, Śānti-parva 123
ऋषिभ्यो भगवान् सोम: सोमाद् देवा: सनातना: । देवेभ्यो ब्राह्मणा लोके जाग्रतीत्युपधारय
Vasuharomā uvāca: ṛṣibhyo bhagavān somaḥ, somād devāḥ sanātanāḥ | devebhyo brāhmaṇā loke jāgratīty upadhāraya ||
Vasuharomā berkata: “Dari para resi lahir Soma yang mulia; dari Soma lahir para dewa yang kekal. Dan dari para dewa, di dunia ini, para Brāhmaṇa tetap senantiasa terjaga—pahamilah ini dengan sungguh.”
