Duryodhana-śibira-praveśaḥ — The Pāṇḍavas Enter the Kaurava Camp; The Burning of Arjuna’s Chariot
The verse highlights disciplined closure of action: once the day’s duty is completed, leaders should order a proper halt and allow men and animals to rest. It reflects responsible command—balancing effort with timely respite.
Sanjaya reports that the warriors consider their immediate objective finished and, as evening comes, they propose returning to camp and resting along with their cavalry, elephant corps, and chariot units.
