इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत शल्यपर्वके अन्तर्गत गदापर्वनें श्रीकृष्णका बलदेवजीको सान्त्वना देनाविषयक साठवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
tāṁs tu cintāparān dṛṣṭvā pāṇḍavān dīnacetasaḥ | provācedaṁ vacaḥ kṛṣṇo meghadundubhiniḥsvanaḥ ||
Melihat para Pāṇḍava murung dan tenggelam dalam kecemasan, Kṛṣṇa—bersuara dalam laksana gemuruh awan dan dentang genderang perang—berbicara kepada mereka demikian.
