पपात चोल्का महती पतिते पृथिवीपतौ । पृथ्वीपति दुर्योधनके गिर जानेपर आकाशसे पुनः महान् शब्द और बिजलीकी कड़कके साथ प्रज्वलित, भयंकर एवं विशाल उल्का भूमिपर गिरी || ५० $ ।।

Ketika penguasa bumi itu roboh, sebuah meteor besar menyala dan menghantam tanah, disertai gelegar kilat—pertanda langit yang muram, menandai runtuhnya kewibawaan raja dan tatanan dharma yang selama ini tegak oleh kekuatan semata.
