तत्रापि विधिवद् दत्त्वा ब्राह्मणेभ्यो महायशा: । वाजिन: कुग्जरांश्वैव रथांश्चाश्चतरीयुतान्,पृथ्वीनाथ! महायशस्वी महाबाहु बलरामजी उस तीर्थमें भी ब्राह्मणोंको विधिपूर्वक हाथी, घोड़े, खच्चरियोंसे जुते हुए रथ, बहुमूल्य रत्न तथा प्रचुर धन-धान्यका दान करके वहाँसे यायात तीर्थमें गये
tatrāpi vidhivad dattvā brāhmaṇebhyo mahāyaśāḥ | vājinaḥ kuñjarāṃś caiva rathāṃś cāścatvarīyutān ||
Wahai penguasa bumi, di sana pula Balarāma yang termasyhur memberikan derma kepada para brāhmaṇa menurut tata-ritus: kuda, gajah, serta kereta yang ditarik oleh empat ekor kuda.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
That dāna (generous giving) should be performed vidhivat—properly, respectfully, and in accordance with dharma—especially toward brāhmaṇas, thereby supporting ritual and social order.
The narrator states that the renowned figure (contextually Balarāma in this section) continues his pilgrimage conduct by giving substantial gifts—horses, elephants, and four-yoked chariots—to brāhmaṇas at that sacred place.
