Kapālamocana-tīrtha (Auśanasa) and Balarāma’s Sarasvatī Pilgrimage
विज्ञप्तो वै महादेव ऋषेरथें नराधिप । नायं नृत्येद् यथा देव तथा त्वं कर्तुमहसि
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
vijñapto vai mahādeva ṛṣer arthe narādhipa |
nāyaṁ nṛtyed yathā deva tathā tvaṁ kartum arhasi rājann nareśvara ||
Wahai penguasa manusia, Mahādeva pun dimintai permohonan secara resmi demi sang resi. Para dewa yang dipimpin Brahmā serta para maharsi bertapa memohon kepada Śiva: “Wahai Dewa, mohon carikan upaya agar muni ini tidak menari.”
