āsīd anantakaro rājan vairasya tava putrayoḥ | rājan tad-anantaraṁ āpake una donoṁ putroṁ meṁ vairakā anta kara denevālā bhayaṅkara evaṁ romāñcakārī saṅgrāma hone lagā |
Sañjaya berkata: Wahai Raja, di antara kedua putramu bangkitlah pertempuran yang dahsyat dan membuat bulu kuduk berdiri—pertempuran yang akan mengakhiri permusuhan mereka. Setelah itu, benturan kian memuncak, bergerak tak terelakkan menuju penutup yang menentukan dan membawa kebinasaan.

Unchecked enmity (vaira) tends to culminate in destructive conflict; when hatred is allowed to mature, it seeks a final resolution not through reconciliation but through ruin.
