विधिवत्‌ कल्पितं शुभ्र॑ महाम्बुदनिनादिनम्‌ । सज्जयन्त्रोपकरणं द्विषतां लोमहर्षणम्‌

vidhivat kalpitaṁ śubhraṁ mahāmbuda-ninādinam | sajja-yantropakaraṇaṁ dviṣatāṁ lomaharṣaṇam ||

Sañjaya berkata: Kereta itu telah dipersiapkan menurut tata-aturan; cemerlang dan putih bersih, menggelegar dalam seperti awan besar. Segala mesin dan perlengkapan telah terpasang rapi, dan wujudnya sanggup membuat bulu kuduk musuh berdiri.
