शैनेयो दक्षिणं चक्र धृष्टद्युम्नस्तथोत्तरम्
śaineyo dakṣiṇaṃ cakra dhṛṣṭadyumnas tathottaram
Sañjaya berkata: Śaineya mengambil posisi sayap selatan, dan Dhṛṣṭadyumna pun menempati sayap utara; keduanya menata tempatnya dalam formasi perang dengan niat yang mantap di tengah berkobarnya pertempuran.
