वैशम्पायन उवाच एवं विलपतीं कुन्तीमभिवाद्य प्रणम्प च । पाण्डवा विगतानन्दा वनायैव प्रवव्रजु:
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: evaṁ vilapatīṁ Kuntīm abhivādya praṇamya ca | Pāṇḍavā vigatānandā vanāyaiva pravavrajuḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: Setelah memberi salam hormat dan bersujud kepada Kuntī yang meratap demikian, para Pāṇḍava—tanpa sukacita—berangkat menuju hutan semata.
