सभा-पर्यवसान-प्रस्थानवचनम् | Counsel at the Point of Departure

कुलेषु जाता: कल्याणि व्यसनैराहता भृशम्‌ | धर्म्यान्मार्गान्नि च्यवन्ते येषां नस्त्वं वधू: स्थिता

kuleṣu jātāḥ kalyāṇi vyasanair āhatā bhṛśam | dharmyān mārgān na cyavante yeṣāṃ nas tvaṃ vadhūḥ sthitā ||

Bhīṣma berkata: “Wahai wanita mulia, para Pāṇḍava—di rumah merekalah engkau berdiri sebagai menantu—terlahir dalam wangsa yang luhur. Sekalipun dihantam bencana seberat apa pun, mereka tidak menyimpang dari jalan dharma.”
