Renewed Summons to the Dice-Game and Exile Wager

Educational Q&A

Even though pleasure and pain inevitably touch everyone by the arrangement of destiny, Dharma is the highest guiding principle; when protected and practiced, it yields peace and welfare.

Draupadī reflects on the inevitability of suffering and fortune for all people and asserts that steadfast adherence to Dharma—rather than despair or retaliation—will ultimately secure their well-being.
