Jarāsandha-nipātana, rāja-mokṣa, and rājasūya-sāhāyya-prārthanā

Jarāsandha’s fall, liberation of kings, and request for support

अस्मांस्तदेनो गच्छेद्धि कृत॑ बार्हद्रथ त्वया । वयं हि शक्ता धर्मस्य रक्षणे धर्मचारिण:,बृहद्रथकुमार! तुम्हारे द्वारा किया हुआ यह पाप हम सब लोगोंपर लागू होगा; क्योंकि हम धर्मकी रक्षा करनेमें समर्थ और धर्मका पालन करनेवाले हैं

asmāṁs tad eno gacched dhi kṛtaṁ bārhadratha tvayā | vayaṁ hi śaktā dharmasya rakṣaṇe dharmacāriṇaḥ, bṛhadrathakumāra |

Wahai putra Bṛhadratha, dosa dari perbuatan yang kau lakukan ini akan menimpa kami juga. Sebab kami mampu menjaga dharma dan kami hidup menurut dharma; maka kami tak dapat berdiam diri ketika adharma terjadi di hadapan kami.
