वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores that unwavering dharma is ultimately recognized and upheld by the cosmic order: the righteous person’s final passage is not merely personal achievement but a divinely affirmed culmination of ethical steadfastness.
After the preceding events of the great journey, Indra arrives with a chariot, filling heaven and earth with reverberation, and directly commands Yudhiṣṭhira (called Pārtha) to mount the chariot—initiating the next stage toward heaven.
