Arjuna Breaks the Encirclement; Bhīma Reinforces
एष कर्णो रणे जित्वा पञज्चालान् पाण्डुसृञ्जयान् । दिशो विप्रेक्षते सर्वास्त्वदर्थमिति मे मति:,“यह कर्ण रणभूमिमें पांचालों, पाण्डवों और सूंजयोंको जीतकर अब तुम्हें परास्त करनेके लिये सारी दिशाओंमें दृष्टिपात कर रहा है; ऐसा मेरा मत है
eṣa karṇo raṇe jitvā pañcālān pāṇḍusṛñjayān | diśo viprekṣate sarvāstvadartham iti me matiḥ ||
Sañjaya berkata: “Inilah Karṇa—setelah menaklukkan orang-orang Pāñcāla dan Pāṇḍu–Sṛñjaya dalam pertempuran—kini ia menyapu pandang ke segala penjuru, dengan maksud tertuju kepadamu. Demikianlah penilaianku.”
