अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

Transliteration

karṇas tu sātyakiṃ jitvā rājagṛddhī mahābalaḥ

Translation

Sañjaya berkata: Karṇa yang perkasa, didorong hasrat akan kemuliaan raja, setelah menundukkan Sātyaki, terus maju. Kemenangannya memenuhi tuntutan perang saat itu sekaligus menyuburkan dahaga akan supremasi.
