कर्णभीमसमागमः | Karṇa–Bhīma Encounter

(दाक्षिणात्य अधिक पाठके ७३ “लोक मिलाकर कुल १७० ३ “लोक हैं) नस (9) £:.१शप्ट् पज्चत्रिशो< ध्याय: शल्य और दुर्योधनका वार्तालाप, कर्णका सारथि होनेके लिये शल्यकी स्वीकृति दुर्योधन उवाच एवं स भगवान्‌ देव: सर्वलोकपितामह: । सारथ्यमकरोत तत्र ब्रह्मा रुद्रो&$भवद्‌ रथी,दुर्योधन बोला--राजन्‌! इस प्रकार सर्वलोक-पितामह भगवान्‌ ब्रह्माने वहाँ सारथिका कार्य किया और रथी हुए रुद्र

duryodhana uvāca | evaṃ sa bhagavān devaḥ sarvalokapitāmahaḥ | sārathyam akarot tatra brahmā rudro 'bhavad rathī ||

Duryodhana berkata: “Wahai Raja, demikianlah di sana Brahmā, Sang Mahadewa—kakek agung bagi semua dunia—menjalankan tugas sebagai sais; dan Rudra menjadi kesatria penunggang kereta.”
