कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
अहोरात्र कलाश्लैव काष्ठाश्न् ऋतवस्तथा । अनुकर्ष ग्रहा दीप्ता वरूथं चापि तारका:,दिन, रात, कला, काष्ठा और छहों ऋतुएँ उस रथका अनुकर्ष (नीचेका काष्ठ) बन गयीं। चमकते हुए ग्रह और तारे वरूथ (रथकी रक्षाके लिये आवरण) हुए
ahorātra-kalāś caiva kāṣṭhāś ca ṛtavas tathā | anukarṣa-grahā dīptā varūthaṃ cāpi tārakāḥ ||
Duryodhana berkata— siang dan malam, pembagian waktu (kalā), kāṣṭhā, dan musim-musim menjadi anukarṣa—penopang kayu di bagian bawah kereta itu. Planet-planet yang menyala dan bintang-bintang menjadi varūtha, selubung pelindungnya.
