एवं तु त्रिपुरं दग्धं दानवाश्वाप्पशेषत: । महेश्वरेण क्रुद्धेन त्रलोक्यस्य हितैषिणा,इस प्रकार तीनों लोकोंका हित चाहनेवाले महेश्वरने कुपित होकर उन तीनों पुरों तथा उनमें निवास करनेवाले दानवोंको दग्ध कर दिया

Transliteration

evaṁ tu tripuraṁ dagdhaṁ dānavāś cāvaśeṣataḥ | maheśvareṇa kruddhena trilokyasya hitaiṣiṇā ||

Translation

Demikianlah Tripura terbakar habis, beserta para Dānava yang tinggal di dalamnya, oleh Maheshvara yang murka namun menghendaki kebaikan tiga dunia.
