एवं कृते कृतं साहां सर्वकामैर्भविष्यति,ऐसा करनेपर मेरी सम्पूर्ण इच्छाओंके अनुसार सहायता सम्पन्न हो जायगी। भारत! उस समय मैं संग्राममें जो कुछ करूँगा, उसे तुम स्वयं देख लोगे। युद्धस्थलमें आये हुए समस्त पाण्डवोंको निश्चय ही मैं सब प्रकारसे जीत लूँगा
evaṃ kṛte kṛtaṃ sāhaṃ sarvakāmair bhaviṣyati | bhārata! tadāhaṃ saṅgrāme yat kiṃcid kariṣyāmi, tat tvaṃ svayaṃ drakṣyasi | yuddhasthale āgatān samastān pāṇḍavān niścayaṃ sarvathā jayiṣyāmi ||
Karna berkata: “Jika ini dilakukan, maka aku akan sepenuhnya ditopang sesuai dengan segala tujuanku. Wahai Bhārata, apa pun yang kulakukan dalam pertempuran kelak, engkau akan melihatnya dengan matamu sendiri. Di medan laga, semua Pāṇḍava yang datang ke hadapanku pasti akan kutaklukkan dengan segala cara.”
