Arjuna’s Response and the Renewed Battle
संतापयन्तावन्योन्यं दीप्तै: शरगभस्तिभि: । लोकत्रासकरावास्तां विमार्गस्थौ ग्रहाविव,जैसे वक्र या अतिचार गतिसे चलनेवाले दो ग्रह सम्पूर्ण जगत्के लिये त्रास उत्पन्न करनेवाले हो जाते हैं, उसी प्रकार वे दोनों वीर अपनी बाणमयी प्रज्वलित किरणोंद्वारा एक- दूसरेको संताप देने लगे
saṃtāpayantāv anyonyaṃ dīptaiḥ śaragabhastibhiḥ | lokatrāsakarāv āstāṃ vimārgasthau grahāv iva ||
Kedua kesatria itu saling membakar dengan gugusan sinar-panah yang menyala. Laksana dua planet yang menyimpang dari lintasannya—yang gerak ganjilnya menebar gentar ke seluruh dunia—demikianlah mereka tampak, menimbulkan teror dalam pertempuran tanpa henti.
