संजय उवाच ततः संध्यामुपास्यैव वीरो वीरावसादने । कथयन्तौ रणे वृत्तं प्रयाता रथमास्थितौ,संजय कहते हैं--राजन्! तदनन्तर वे दोनों वीर उस वीरसंहारक रणभूमिमें संध्या- वन्दन करके पुन: रथपर बैठकर युद्ध॒सम्बन्धी बातें करते हुए आगे बढ़े
sañjaya uvāca tataḥ sandhyām upāsyāiva vīro vīrāvasādane | kathayantau raṇe vṛttaṃ prayātā ratham āsthitau ||
Sañjaya berkata: “Wahai Raja, kemudian kedua pahlawan itu, di medan perang yang meruntuhkan para kesatria, menunaikan pemujaan senja (sandhyā) terlebih dahulu; lalu naik kembali ke kereta dan melaju, sambil membicarakan apa yang telah terjadi dalam pertempuran.”
संजय उवाच
Even in the midst of war, the warriors observe Sandhyā worship, suggesting steadfast adherence to prescribed duty and inner discipline; devotion and ritual order are not abandoned even when life is dominated by conflict.
After pausing to perform the evening twilight rite, two warriors mount their chariot again and proceed, discussing the events of the battle as they move forward on the hero-destroying battlefield.
