Droṇasya raudra-prayogaḥ
Droṇa’s intensified assault and the Pāṇḍava response
परेषां क्रौज्च एवासीदू व्यूहो राजन् महात्मनाम् । प्रीयमाणेन विहितो धर्मराजेन भारत
pareṣāṁ krauñca evāsīd vyūho rājan mahātmanām | prīyamāṇena vihito dharmarājena bhārata ||
Sanjaya berkata: “Wahai Raja, pasukan para kesatria agung di pihak lawan tersusun dalam formasi Krauñca (bangau). Formasi itu ditetapkan oleh Dharmaraja Yudhishthira, wahai Bharata, dengan hati yang mantap pada dharma.”
