Jayadrathasya śoka-bhaya-vilāpaḥ — Droṇena āśvāsanaṃ ca
Jayadratha’s lament and Droṇa’s reassurance
पवित्रमरिसंघघ्नं मड़लानां च मड़लम् । यथैव वेदाध्ययनमुपाख्यानमिदं तथा
pavitram arisaṅghaghnaṁ maṅgalānāṁ ca maṅgalam | yathaiva vedādhyayanam upākhyānam idaṁ tathā ||
Kisah ini suci, menghancurkan gerombolan musuh, dan merupakan kemuliaan di antara segala yang membawa tuah. Ia patut dipandang setara dengan mempelajari Weda.
