The verse highlights how consummate discipline and speed in action can deny an opponent any ‘opening’—a martial lesson that also carries an ethical undertone: in war, superior skill can create an overwhelming, near-inescapable pressure, reminding readers of the grave responsibility that accompanies power.
Sañjaya describes a formidable archer whose rapid, continuous volleys of powerful arrows fill all directions. Even elite warriors, though eager and aggressive, cannot perceive any gap or weakness to exploit against him.
