आरूढाज्गशिक्षितैर्योधै: शकक्‍्त्यृष्टिप्रासयोधिभि: । विध्वस्तचामरमुखान्‌ विप्रविद्धप्रकीर्णकान्‌

Transliteration

ārūḍāṅgaśikṣitair yodhaiḥ śaktyṛṣṭiprāsayodhibhiḥ | vidhvastacāmaramukhān vipraviddhaprakīrṇakān ||

Translation

Sañjaya berkata: Para kesatria yang terlatih dalam perang berkuda dan mahir memakai śakti, ṛṣṭi, prāsa, serta senjata lainnya, menembus dan mencerai-beraikan mereka yang barisan depan serta panji-panji dan chāmara-nya telah hancur; di tengah hiruk-pikuk pertempuran mereka terluka, kacau, dan tercerai ke segala arah.
