Sañjaya berkata: “Engkau layak dibunuh; tidak ada guna engkau tetap hidup walau hanya satu muhūrta. Setelah melakukan perbuatan berdosa demikian, engkau kembali menimpakan cela kepada gurumu—maka engkau pantas menerima kematian.”

The verse frames a severe ethical judgment: persistent sinful conduct combined with blaming or attacking one’s teacher (guru) is portrayed as a grave transgression that forfeits moral standing and warrants the harshest consequence in the wartime context.
Sañjaya reports a moment of intense denunciation on the battlefield: someone is declared ‘fit to be slain,’ with the rationale that his continued life has no value because he has acted sinfully and has again directed reproach toward his guru.
