त्यजायुधममोधेषो तिष्ठ वर्त्मनि शाश्वते । परिपूर्णश्च॒ कालस्ते वस्तुं लोकेउद्य मानुषे,“अमोघ बाणवाले द्रोणाचार्य! अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंका परित्याग कर दो और अपने सनातन मार्गपर स्थित हो जाओ। आज इस मनुष्यलोकमें तुम्हारे रहनेका समय पूरा हो गया

Transliteration

tyajāyudham amogheṣo tiṣṭha vartmani śāśvate | paripūrṇaś ca kālas te vastum loke 'dya mānuṣe ||

Translation

Sañjaya berkata: “Wahai yang panahnya tak pernah meleset, letakkan senjatamu dan tegaklah di jalan yang abadi. Hari ini, masa yang ditetapkan bagimu untuk tinggal di dunia manusia telah genap.”
