श्रीवायुदेव उवाच अतिहर्षमिमं प्राप्तं शृणु मे त्वं धनंजय । अतीव मनस: सद्य: प्रसादकरमुत्तमम्
śrīvāyudeva uvāca atiharṣam imaṁ prāptaṁ śṛṇu me tvaṁ dhanañjaya | atīva manasaḥ sadyaḥ prasādakaram uttamam ||
Śrī Vāyudeva berkata: “Wahai Dhanañjaya, dengarkan aku. Aku telah mencapai sukacita yang amat besar—kegembiraan luhur yang seketika menjernihkan dan menenteramkan batin.”

The verse highlights the ethical value of inner steadiness: a noble joy is not mere excitement but a mental clarity (prasāda) that arises immediately and supports right discernment and action, especially amid the pressures of war.
Vāyudeva addresses Arjuna (Dhanañjaya) and urges him to listen, announcing that he has obtained an intense, excellent joy—one that instantly calms and brightens the mind—setting a tone of reassurance and purposeful guidance.
