Pañcālāḥ Sṛñjayāś caiva vājināḥ paramaddhipāḥ.

Translation

Sañjaya berkata: Kaum Pañcāla dan Sṛñjaya, bersama para penunggang kuda terunggul mereka—para penguasa tanah yang paling perkasa—berdiri berbaris rapi di medan laga.
