gatasattvo nirutsāhaḥ patitaḥ khādhyadṛśyata |
Sañjaya berkata: Kehilangan kekuatan dan sattva, tanpa semangat, ia tampak jatuh—tertebas menjadi ratusan bagian saat runtuh ke medan laga.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the fragility of bodily might and the moral warning that violence and pride can end in sudden ruin; true support is inner steadiness—courage, restraint, and clarity—rather than mere physical power.
Sañjaya reports that a mighty combatant (described in the accompanying Hindi gloss as a huge rākṣasa) has lost strength and morale and is seen falling on the battlefield, cut into many pieces as he comes down.
