समकम्पन्त सर्वाणि सिन्धोरिव महोर्मय: । भारत! उस घोर शब्दसे डरायी हुई आपकी सारी सेनाएँ समुद्रकी बड़ी-बड़ी लहरोंके समान काँपने लगीं

Transliteration

samakampanta sarvāṇi sindhor iva mahormayaḥ | bhārata! us ghora śabdase ḍarāyī huī āpakī sārī senāeṁ samudrakī baṛī-baṛī laharoṁke samān kāṁpane lagīṁ

Translation

Sañjaya berkata: “Wahai Bhārata, diguncang rasa takut oleh raungan yang mengerikan itu, seluruh pasukanmu mulai gemetar—laksana gelombang besar samudra yang menghempas.”
