अनिलेन यथाभ्राणि विच्छिन्नानि समन्तत:
anilena yathābhrāṇi vicchinnāni samantataḥ
Sañjaya berkata: “Seperti awan yang tercerai-berai ke segala arah oleh angin,” demikianlah pasukan itu di medan laga pun tercerai ke segala penjuru.
संजय उवाच
The simile highlights impermanence and vulnerability: in war, power and order can be dispersed as easily as clouds by wind, reminding the listener of the instability of worldly arrangements and the ethical gravity of violence.
Sañjaya describes a scene of dispersal and fragmentation—likely of troops, formations, or combatants—using the image of clouds driven apart by wind to convey sudden, widespread scattering.
