नाकुलिस्तस्य विशिखैर्वर्म संनतपर्वभि: । गात्रात् संच्यावयामास तदद्भुतमिवाभवत्,तब नकुलपुत्रने झुकी हुई गाँठवाले अनेक बाण मारकर चित्रसेनके शरीरसे उसके कवचको काट गिराया। वह अद्धभुत-सा कार्य हुआ
sañjaya uvāca |
nākulis tasya viśikhair varma sannatapārṇabhiḥ |
gātrāt sañcyāvayāmāsa tad adbhutam ivābhavat ||
Sañjaya berkata: Lalu Nakuli, dengan banyak panah yang beruas melengkung, menghantamnya hingga baju zirahnya terlepas dari tubuh. Perbuatan itu tampak sungguh menakjubkan.
