तेषु राजसहस्रेषु तावकेषु परेषु च । एक एव ज्वलंस्तस्थौ वृषसेन: प्रतापवान्,आपके और शत्रुपक्षेके सहस्नों राजाओंके बीच एकमात्र प्रतापी वृषसेन ही अपने तेजसे प्रकाशित होता हुआ रणभूमिमें खड़ा था
teṣu rāja-sahasreṣu tāvakeṣu pareṣu ca | eka eva jvalan tasthau vṛṣasenaḥ pratāpavān ||
Di tengah ribuan raja itu—baik di pihakmu maupun di pihak lawan—hanya Vṛṣasena yang perkasa berdiri di medan laga, menyala-nyala, memancarkan kemilau kepahlawanan.
