वासवी-शक्तेः प्रयोगः, घटोत्कच-वधोत्तर-शोकः, व्यासोपदेशश्च

ततः प्रववृते युद्ध द्रोणस्प सह पाण्डवै:
tataḥ pravavṛte yuddhaṁ droṇaspaḥ saha pāṇḍavaiḥ
Sesudah itu, pertempuran pun berkobar hebat ketika pasukan Droṇa berhadapan dengan para Pāṇḍava—sebuah peningkatan yang menajamkan ketegangan antara kewajiban ksatria dan harga perang yang kian mahal.
