दुर्योधनस्य कर्णप्रार्थना — कृपकर्णसंवादः

यं समासाद्य पुत्रै्मे कृतं वैरं महारथै: । त॑ सूततनयं तात कथं भीमो हायोधयत्,तात! जिसका आश्रय लेकर मेरे पुत्रोंने महारथी पाण्डवोंके साथ वैर ठाना है, उस सूतपुत्र कर्णके साथ भीमसेनने किस प्रकार युद्ध किया?
sañjaya uvāca | yaṃ samāsādya putrair me kṛtaṃ vairaṃ mahārathaiḥ | taṃ sūta-tanayaṃ tāta kathaṃ bhīmo hy ayodhayat ||
Sañjaya berkata: Wahai tuan, bersandar padanya putra-putraku menegakkan permusuhan terhadap para Pāṇḍava, para mahāratha. Maka bagaimana Bhīmasena bertempur melawan Karṇa, putra sais kereta itu?
