Droṇa Encircled at Night: Coalition Advance and Battlefield Omens (द्रोणपर्यावरणं रात्रियुद्धवर्णनम्)
भीमसेन न ते शकया प्रवेष्टमरिवाहिनी । मामनिर्जित्य समरे शत्रुमद्य महाबल,“महाबली भीमसेन! तुम समरभूमिमें आज मुझ शत्रुको पराजित किये बिना इस शत्रुसेनामें प्रवेश नहीं कर सकोगे
bhīmasena na te śakyā praveṣṭum arivāhinī | mām anirjitya samare śatrum adya mahābala ||
Sañjaya berkata: “Wahai Bhīmasena yang mahaperkasa, hari ini engkau takkan dapat menerobos masuk ke dalam pasukan musuh ini sebelum engkau mengalahkanku dalam pertempuran—aku, musuhmu, harus kau taklukkan terlebih dahulu.”
