अर्जुनस्य गुरुधर्मविलापः तथा शैनेयकर्णयोर्युद्धारम्भः | Arjuna’s Lament on Guru-Dharma and the Opening of the Sātyaki–Karṇa Duel

अदिद्धं तत्र नाद्राक्षं युयुधानस्य सायकै: । सर्दीसे पीड़ित हुई गायोंके समान आपकी सारी सेना वहीं चक्कर लगा रही थी। मैंने वहाँ एक भी पैदल, रथी, हाथी तथा सवारसहित घोड़ेको ऐसा नहीं देखा, जो युयुधानके बाणोंसे विद्ध न हुआ हो

adiddhaṁ tatra nādrākṣaṁ yuyudhānasya sāyakaiḥ |

Sañjaya berkata: “Di sana aku tidak melihat seorang pun yang tidak tertembus oleh panah-panah Yuyudhāna. Seluruh pasukanmu, terluka dan kehilangan arah, berputar-putar dalam kebingungan—laksana kawanan sapi yang tersiksa penyakit. Tidak kulihat seorang pun, baik prajurit berjalan kaki, kesatria berkereta, penunggang gajah, maupun penunggang kuda, yang luput dari tikaman anak panah Yuyudhāna.”
