Sunset Vow and Curse-Condition

चारणा: सहगन्धर्वा: पूजयाज्चक्रिरे भृशम्‌ । जिसे पहले दूसरोंने नहीं किया था, समरांगणमें सात्यकिके उस पराक्रमको देखकर चारणों और ग्रन्धवोंने उनकी भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा की ।। ५४ $ ।। त॑ यान्तं पृष्ठगोप्तारमर्जुनस्य विशाम्पते । चारणा: प्रेक्ष्य संहृष्टास्त्वदीयाश्वा भ्यपूजयन्‌,प्रजानाथ! अर्जुनके पृष्ठरक्षक सात्यकिको जाते देख चारणोंको बड़ा हर्ष हुआ और आपके सैनिकोंने भी उनकी बड़ी सराहना की

sañjaya uvāca |

cāraṇāḥ sahagandharvāḥ pūjayāñ cakrire bhṛśam |

yaṃ pūrvaṃ dvitīyair na kṛtaṃ samara-aṅgaṇe |

sātyakeḥ taṃ parākramaṃ dṛṣṭvā cāraṇā gandharvāś ca bhūri-bhūri praśaṃsire ||

taṃ yāntaṃ pṛṣṭhagoptāram arjunasya viśāṃpate |

cāraṇāḥ prekṣya saṃhṛṣṭās tvadīyāś cāpy apūjayan prajānātha ||

Sañjaya berkata: Para Cāraṇa bersama para Gandharva memuliakannya dengan sangat. Menyaksikan keperkasaan Sātyaki di medan laga—perbuatan yang belum pernah dicapai orang lain sebelumnya—mereka memujinya berulang-ulang. Dan ketika Sātyaki, pelindung barisan belakang Arjuna, bergerak maju, para Cāraṇa bersukacita melihatnya; bahkan pasukanmu sendiri, wahai penguasa manusia, menyatakan kekaguman dan memberi penghormatan kepadanya.
