Bhūriśravas–Sātyaki Saṃvāda and Duel; Arjuna’s Intervention

The verse highlights disciplined power: immense speed and strength become effective only when governed by skilled control (the charioteer). In ethical terms, prowess in war is portrayed as meaningful when directed by restraint and order rather than mere force.
Sañjaya describes the chariot’s horses in the midst of combat—brilliant white like jasmine, the moon, and silver, moving with wind-like speed, leaping as they carry the chariot’s burden under the charioteer’s command.
