यत्तो याहि रणे सूत शृणु चेदं॑ वच: परम् | 'सूत! द्रोणाचार्य मुझे रोकनेके लिये सब प्रकारसे प्रयत्न करेंगे, अतः तुम रफणक्षेत्रमें सावधान होकर चलो और मेरी यह दूसरी बात भी सुन लो
yatto yāhi raṇe sūta śṛṇu cedaṁ vacaḥ param |
Sañjaya berkata: “Wahai sais, kendalikan kereta dengan kewaspadaan penuh di tengah pertempuran dan dengarkan petuah tertinggi ini. Droṇācārya akan berusaha dengan segala cara untuk menghentikanku; karena itu, tetaplah waspada saat melintasi medan Kurukṣetra, dan dengarkan pula nasihat keduaku ini.”
