Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 114 — Karṇa–Bhīmasena Missile Exchange, Disarmament, and Arjuna’s Intervention
तस्याहं पदवीं यास्ये संदेशात् तव मानद । त्वत्कृते न च मे किंचिदकर्तव्यं कथंचन,“मानद! मैं आपके आदेश और संदेशसे अर्जुनके पथका अनुसरण करूँगा। आपके लिये कोई ऐसा कार्य नहीं है जिसे मैं किसी प्रकार न कर सकूँ
tasyāhaṁ padavīṁ yāsye saṁdeśāt tava mānada | tvatkṛte na ca me kiṁcid akartavyaṁ kathaṁcana ||
Sātyaki berkata: “Wahai yang memuliakan, atas perintahmu dan membawa pesanmu, aku akan menapaki jejak langkahnya. Demi engkau, tiada tugas apa pun yang akan kutinggalkan dengan cara apa pun.”
