Adhyāya 113: Karṇa–Bhīma Śaravarṣa and the Battlefield Aftermath (कर्णभीमशरवर्षः)
तस्मै त्वां विसूजेयं वै स त्वां रक्षेद् यथार्जुन: । “यदि कामदेवके अवतार श्रीकृष्णकुमार प्रद्युम्न यहाँ हाथमें धनुष लेकर खड़े होते तो उन्हें मैं आपको सौंप देता। वे अर्जुनके समान ही आपकी रक्षा कर सकते थे
tasmai tvāṁ visūjeyaṁ vai sa tvāṁ rakṣed yathārjunaḥ |
Sañjaya berkata: Sungguh, aku akan menyerahkan tuanku kepadanya, agar ia melindungi tuanku sebagaimana Arjuna melindungi. Seandainya Pradyumna, putra Śrī Kṛṣṇa—penjelmaan Kāma—berdiri di sini dengan busur di tangan, niscaya aku menitipkan tuanku kepadanya; ia mampu menjaga tuanku setara Arjuna.
