bhūriśravās tu saṅkruddhaḥ pratodaṃ cicchide hareḥ
Sañjaya berkata: Diliputi amarah, Bhūriśravā menebas cambuk Hari (Śrī Kṛṣṇa); lalu ia menghantam Arjuna dengan hujan tujuh puluh tiga anak panah yang tajam.

The verse highlights how anger (krodha) drives a warrior to target even the charioteer’s instruments, escalating conflict beyond immediate combat aims; it implicitly warns that loss of restraint in war can blur ethical boundaries and intensify harm.
Sañjaya reports that Bhūriśravā, furious, cuts Kṛṣṇa’s whip (the charioteer’s goad) and then attacks Arjuna with a heavy shower of arrows, increasing the ferocity of the engagement.
