Educational Q&A

The verse highlights disciplined competence and steadiness in one’s duty: Arjuna answers aggression with controlled, skillful action rather than panic. Kṛṣṇa’s role as charioteer frames this prowess within guided purpose—power exercised with direction and resolve.

In the midst of the Drona Parva battle, Arjuna responds to multiple opponents at once. He demonstrates remarkable hand-speed and archery skill, piercing them in return, while Kṛṣṇa drives his chariot and Arjuna laughs loudly in confident counterattack.
